Menu Design

This project features a menu layout for a restaurant called Floras Door, a vegan-based restaurant with a smokehouse approach to the execution of their meals - swapping out the best cuts of beef for delicious and nutritious greens. With such a unique and interesting take on an otherwise rather traditional concept, I knew I wanted to expand upon that heavily to see where I could take it.

With the unique concept of their restaurant, I knew that was something I wanted to emulate within my design. The selection of rugged sans-serif type, colour palette, and grainy/stained texture help to lean into that, though the illustrations of vegetables depicted as cuts of meat traditionally found in a deli/smokehouse setting truly adds the cohesion.

Programs used were Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
